HeadHardHat's ALS Ice Bucket Challenge 2014

Lunch Time Ammo Box Geocache

I packed my lunch today so I had some extra time to go find a geocache. This one took you for a short walk in the woods. Found this extremely nice ammo box nestled within a pile of sticks. Always fun to go geocaching during your lunch time. Oh and mind the skeeters.

My First Geocache Near My New Job

You have often heard me say that one of the best ways to finding new businesses in an area that you've never been before is go geocaching.

Here is my first lunch time geocache near my new place of employment. In just finding that I now know where the local drug store is and several food establishments. All handy knowledge. Good to know these type of places and I picked up a smiley to boot.

HeadHardHat's Geocaching vLog - The 7 Souvenirs of August 2014 Plus One

In this edition of HeadHardHat's Geocaching vLog, Andy HeadHardHat Smith and wife Amy take on the 7 Souvenirs of August Challenge and complete it on International Geocaching Day 2014. That is all for the total of eight geocaching souvenirs in one day. Not only that, Wife Amy also has a milestone of six geocache types in one day where we trek into multiple woods, swamps and other terrains.

Fantastic Day Geocaching

Had a wonderful day Geocaching with wife Amy who had a boat load of milestones. Including six different geocache types in one day, eight Geocaching souvenirs in one day and most GEOCACHERS in one day.

This was so much fun with some glorious takes to tell.

A very special kudos to our friends The 2Alexanders for Geocaching right along with us. It is so much fun sharing the successes and epic failures together.

The NEXT GeoSnippits Reboot Podcast Patron Google+ Hangout Is August 23, 2014

Our July Patron Google+ Hangout was amazingly fun and we can't wait for the next one coming up in August. So we are making sure that all of our viewers and listeners to the GeoSnippits Reboot Podcast have a chance to experience this very casual and interactive event.

It will be held on Saturday August 23rd, 2014 at 3PM EST. Handy Geocaching Online Tools: GPS Coordinate Converter, Coordinate Grabber and Coordinate Distance Calculator

As far as handy online geocaching utilities go. The Jeff Boulter's website GPS Coordinate Converter has been one of my blog's most popular pages. During Episode 072 of the GeoSnippits Reboot Podcast, one of our listeners let us know of two other geocaching utilities that I thought you would love to know as well.
