Yeah sure say what you will about lamp skirt hides. They usually have all the personality of a bowl of vanilla ice cream but a smiley is a smiley and today's lunchtime find gained me mine. Now for some grub.

hey a find is a find in my book... with the cold we are expecting i might be doing a couple of those myself lol
I like all sorts of caches whether there in the light or not :)
I am now to the point where if I am getting close to the coordinates, in a parking lot and I see light posts, I just stop in the nearest parking spot and look for the next one. While I do enjoy the smiley count (I really really do), I still prefer spending the time looking for a good hide rather than lifting up a light pole skirt. It is just getting old to me. And while usually not (because of their bland location), I am sure many good possible spots are ruined due to distance requirements. To each his own of course...
