In geocaching you will have many more finds if you just put your GPS away when at ground zero and simply start looking around. Think to yourself.
"Where would I put it"?
Many times you will guess right. Remember that geocaches can be off up to 60 feet so keep on looking.

Couldn't agree more. I recently found a cache only because I DID NOT have my GPS with me, but I knew the general area because I had logged a DNF on it before. But I was determined to find it driving home from work. And without the distraction of the GPS, I found it in 2 minutes.
