Attended an April Fool's Geocaching Event and a Surprise Milestone

The event was hosted by NCBiscuit (standing)

Had a great time meeting up with some old friend when I attended an April Fools geocaching event
(Caching Fools, Unite! (V)) yesterday. Also met some new geocachers as well who also came to visit with all of us.

The event itself was extremely nice and the idea was simple. After having some tasty treats including deep fried pickle wedges, buffalo wings and other bar foods (no to mention a thrist quenching libation).  Everyone who wanted to participate told geocaching stories. The winner won a new LockNLock geocache with a Dodo bird glued to the top and is crowned this year's Caching Fool.

It was a great get together and I can't wait until next year to come back and try again.

I was checking out my finds and realized when I attended the Caching Fools event that I reached my 1400 geocache milestone. YAY!

Congrats on the milestone!

I got the perfect cache when you get to 1500. Ask me about it sometime.
