Geocaching World (RVNN.tv) Now Featured On YouTube - Geocache Types

Geocaching World is in it's first season and already it is one of the top shows in the RVNN.tv network. There are several reasons for this.  Starting with hosts Dave Dufour who just learned about Geocaching and Andy HeadHardHat Smith who has been very involved with the family activity for years. Then the extremely informative banter as Andy and Dave discuss all the aspects of Geocaching including many side subjects likes photography, hiking, technology and much more. Finally there are our amazing viewers who can watch the show as it is recorded LIVE or as it is distributed via ITunes, TechPodcast, Blubrry, Roku and many other viewing choices. Above all this entertaining show would not be possible without you.

So with all the many ways someone can see entire episodes via the web. Why are we putting out teasers of the show and featuring them on YouTube? When we say teaser we are not putting the whole show out there but rather the second segment of three from each show. This will give a good sampling of what the show is about and hopefully will have people wanting to see the show in it's entirety. Overall this is really to help pull in folks who may not be familiar with Geocaching World yet. Our regular viewers will already know to watch off off Thea RVNN.tv website or use ITunes and the like.

The main thing is to keep everyone informed as much as possible. So if Geocaching World comes up in one of your Geocaching discussions be sure to point the discussion to any one of the ways for everyone to enjoy our show. We would appreciate it greatly.

Treasure Cache Mini Pilot Almost Ready For Release

Well folks I am so sorry for not getting nearly enough posts out this week. I have been concentrating on only the Treasure Cache TV show and that's about it. The mini pilot which we will be showing from our website http://www.treasurecachetv.com is pretty much done and I am waiting for final approval before letting it go live. The reason why I call it a mini pilot is because it will be about 6 1/2 minutes long. Just enough to give you a taste of what is going to be on the show. The actual pilot will be the full 30 minutes.

To help curb your waiting for a few more hours here is the finished title sequence which leads into the show itself. I hope you enjoy it.

GeoSnippits: Geocaching in the Media Presentation

(L-Darrylw4, M-HHH, R-Xpunkx. Darrylw4 and Xpunkx are hosts of the Geocaching Podcast show. )

Geocaching in the media can be a very touchy subject. For many the media has helped the activity of geocaching grow with both understanding and encouragement. Other times, not so much.

This presentation given by HeadHardHat of GeoSnippits at Cachercon 2010 in Troy, Michigan was one of several for the day. It was very well received and continues to bring up discussions all around the globe.

The FIRST Geocaching TV Show - HeadHardHat's TreasureCache

Yes you read that right...

In September of 2010 there will be a 30 minute television show dedicated to the game, sport, yes obsession of geocaching. I was so pleased to be able to give the announcement of this history making event at this years Cachercon 2010 in Troy, Michigan.

I braved two snow storms, twelve hours of driving and 750 miles to make it to Cachercon. There I had a great time as one of the many geocacher speakers who gave some of our knowledge from within the geocaching world.

After my presentation the announcement was made and I still can hear the hoots and hollers as the main slides introduced the show's name.

HeadHardHat's TreasureCache

It was a moment I will not soon forget. If anything I am so pumped about doing the show my mind is going in a million different directions at once. So what can I tell you at this moment because I know there are a lot of questions out there. The issue is not all of it is allowed to go public just yet so you are just going to have to be patient. I know it's hard for me too.

What I can tell you is this. There will be a show... that's always a good start.

Currently we have some HUGE sponsors contending for the show itself. I can't say who of course but they are the biggest in the geocaching world. As for the network, we have two who are the largest in both prime-time and the cable networks. Won't know which until the smoke settles.

For all our Michigan Magazine fans do not worry. I plan on continuing to have our GeoSnippits on that fantastic show for as long as Barry wants them there. None of this may have happened at all if it was not for MMTV.

So I know this is not a fountain of information but please rest assured that all the information that becomes available will be broadcast to you, either on this blog, Twitter or Facebook so if you are not signed up to us, please do so. There are places to join on the right side of this blog.

GeoSnippits on Michigan Magazine Television (RFDTV Network)

GeoSnippits Geocaching Videos has been on Michigan Magazine TV since the fall season of this year and we have been getting some down right amazing feedback. Just in case you didn't know Michigan Magazine TV is seen on the RFDTV Network twice a week in all 50 states and GeoSnippits is a segment shown on each and every episode. The GeoSnippits shown on MMTV are exclusive for the show and not currently shown with the very popular YouTube series.
