Fall Colors Finally Start Popping

It is the first week in November and just now the Fall colors are starting to really pop. This photo was taken in Oxford, NC from the parking lot where I work. The colors seem much more subdued this year. Last year with the severity of the drought and lack of wind caused a spectacular three week color fest. This year is nothing to sneeze at either.

They look great to me. Down in Ecuador with two seasons, dry and wet, we don't get the color change. I miss it!
